Ryan Ries is the co-founder of The Whosoevers movement and host of The Ryan Ries Radio Talk Show, podcast and nationwide radio show heard on more than 100 radio stations worldwide. He is also the Author of his newly released book titled: “Kill the Noise” Finding Meaning Above the Madness. Ryan also travels the world speaking at Churches, Concerts, Festivals, High Schools, Skateparks, Juvenile Detention Centers & wherever people gather.
For 10 years, Ries was the Director of Skate and Music Marketing for internationally known brands, including C1RCA Footwear, Special Blend and Foursquare Outerwear. In 2000, he managed one of the top skateboard teams in the world, and with a network of friends, helped bring the underground skate and music scene together to create “Skate Jam 2000,” the first and largest festival style contest of its kind.
Growing up in Los Angeles, California, Ries was introduced to pornography and drugs as a young boy and became addicted to sex and substance abuse early on. For many years, worldly success and pleasure defined his life until a near cocaine overdose caught his attention, and he surrendered his life to the Lord. Following his conversion, Ries has given up the addictions that once consumed him and now spends his life speaking to school-age students worldwide, helping them break free from addiction, praying for their healing and leading them to Christ.
In addition to ministry, Ryan continues to work in the skateboarding and music industry and recently launched Custom Branded, a private label premium footwear, apparel and accessories company providing clients such as restaurant chains and high profile brands, a turn-key merchandise plan with top quality, competitive pricing, and strategic on-brand design for their loyal fans.
His full testimony film captured by I Am Second has reached hundreds of thousands of viewers worldwide. Coming soon, Ries will release his first book with Worthy Publishing early next year.
