God

God has been a part of our country since its birth. While our nation has always protected the rights of those who do not believe, it was founded on the notion that our human liberties do not derive from man—for if they do, then man can just as surely take them away. Instead, our country was established on the profoundly powerful idea that human freedom is the natural state of things as bestowed to us by our Creator.

At the God and Country Festival, we celebrate that.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
